a mixed bag, i guess

atrocious bathroom lighting late housekeeping

i found a couple issues . the bathroom lighting? atrocious. made putting on my face each day a challenge. also, some days housekeepings timing was really off. i'd come back to the room late in the afternoon and they'd barely get started, that was annoying.

charming stay

convenient location helpful staff excellent view

the location was fantastic. it was a short walk from the train station, and all the local attractions were easily accessible. the staff was helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any needs. the rooms were well-appointed. i especially liked the river view.

I had some trouble with the room cleaning schedule. It was inconsistent, which caused some inconvenience. it disrupted my relaxation time.

the rooms have a nice size. they include a coffee machine for guest use and comfortable robes were available. the bathrooms offer a rainfall shower.

the hotel provides valet parking for its guests. the front desk staff is bilingual, capable of communicating in multiple languages. the hotel ensures accessibility by having staff available to assist with various needs, and it really helped.

high ceilings nespresso machine ice dispenser

my room had high ceilings and a mix of tradition and industrial design. there was a nespresso machine in the room (great for morning coffee). i found a water carafe and an ice bucket. an ice dispenser and filtered water machine on my floor.

the hotel lacked its own parking (valet parking was the only option).
